On 28th February, celebrated as National Science Day, Siddhayog Law College felicitated students who successfully completed the certificate course titled “Crime Investigation and Forensic Science.” On this occasion, a Certificate Convocation Ceremony was organized at the college. The programme was conducted with great enthusiasm within the college premises.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Prof. Dr. Swati Rautela from the University of Mumbai as the Chief Guest, renowned Public Prosecutor Adv. Mrunal Jadkar from Khed Sessions Court, and Dr. Hemangi Pol, CEO of Shivtej Health Services, along with other distinguished invitees. The dignitaries highlighted the growing relevance of forensic science in modern criminal investigation.
During the convocation ceremony, certificates were distributed to students who successfully completed the course with commendable performance, and the top three rank holders were specially felicitated. The distinguished guests highly appreciated this special certificate programme initiated by Siddhayog Law College to bridge the gap between theoretical legal education and practical investigation techniques.
In her presidential address, the Principal of the college, Dr. Preeti Bondre, expressed pride in the achievements of the students and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and skill-oriented education. She also noted that alumni of Siddhayog Law College have greatly benefited from this forensic science certificate course. She further stated that the college continues to introduce such innovative programmes to promote holistic development, comprehensive knowledge, and skill enhancement among students, particularly in semi-urban and rural regions of the Konkan area, and remains committed to providing more effective legal education.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Rohan Sawant, Coordinator of the Forensic Science Certificate Course.
